Initial investors include the Wales Life Sciences Investment Fund and funds managed by Woodford Investment Management Limited and investment from technology suppliers including IBA and Philips, high net worth individuals and Western Provident Assurance.

Mike Moran, Chief Executive Officer of Proton Partners International said: “Our admittance to the NEX Growth Market is a reflection of the progress our company has made in four years. We have built and opened three of the most advanced cancer centres in the UK offering high energy proton beam therapy. Moving to a more structured public market environment is part of our long-term growth strategy and a development we have been planning since last year.”
